Crescent Hotel - Eureka Springs, Arkansas

Amie and I were finally able to walk the haunted halls of the world famous Crescent Hotel and Spa, which was built in 1886. We attended the wildly popular ghost tour that hit all the highlights of the hotels haunted past, including bottles that contain human remains found during a recent excavation (see: https://crescent-hotel.com/blog/bizarre-discovery/). We also watched a clip from the TAPS investigation, in which they filmed a presence with their FLIR camera.

There was a 1920's themed wedding going on at the hotel, which definitely helped enhance the mood as we walked the hotel's four floors and morgue in the basement (the hotel doubled as a hospital for a number of years). We’ve already gone through our photos, and it looks like we’ve come up empty handed, but we’re already planning a return trip for next year. I would highly recommend looking up the various ghost stories that the Crescent has to offer, as they are numerous and fascinating.

Cushing, Oklahoma follow-up

After a month of busy weeks, and a couple of personal and work related setbacks, I was finally able to present the Cushing family with our findings. They seemed to be very perceptive and happy with what I showed them, which included audio, video and photos. We also discussed doing a smaller follow-up investigation at a later time.

Cushing, Oklahoma Joint Investigation

BAD MOON PARANORMAL took part in an interesting private residence investigation last night in Cushing, Oklahoma. We again teamed up with our friend Jim Pace from S.P.O.O.K., who provided us with additional equipment and his knowledge and experience. We were also joined by two additional members, bringing with them experience and a fresh perspective. We hope to be able to present the family with our finding in the next week or two.

Enid, Oklahoma Joint Investigation

BAD MOON PARANORMAL took part in a very interesting investigation yesterday, at the request of SOONER PARANORMAL OF OKLAHOMA. The location, an extremely active private residence, was our first home investigation. As always, we learned a great deal from our friend Jim Pace. We were also introduced to the benefits of using a multi-room night vision DVR system. Sitting behind the monitor watching multiple rooms at once was a cool new aspect of paranormal investigation, and provided video evidence that was previously unavailable to us.

It's still early in the process of going through the photos, video and audio we collected, but we already feel that we have captured our most promising EVP to date. We have much more to go through, but this "voice" has us very excited about what we might find next.
